The Offshore Staffing Rate Index
Zedtreeo's published, all-inclusive bill rates for 72 dedicated remote roles staffed fromIndia — beside the US median wage for the nearest occupation, sourced line-by-line to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. No form, no PDF gate, updated annually.
Read the saving as a gross rate comparison. It sets our published rate against the loaded cost of the nearest US occupation. It does not net off onboarding, management time or tooling — which is why the savings we quote in ordinary copy are the more conservative 70–85%.
Methodology — read this before citing
What this is:Zedtreeo's actual published rate card — the starting bill rates a client pays for each role, as listed on our live service pages. It is a primary pricing document, not a market survey: we are not estimating what "the industry" charges, we are disclosing what we charge.
What each rate includes:the professional's salary, statutory benefits and employer costs in India, recruitment and vetting, HR management, replacement cover, and infrastructure. There are no setup fees. Rates shown are the published starting rate per role; senior profiles within a role can price above the starting rate. Monthly figures assume 176 hours (full-time).
US comparator column: the median annual wage for the nearest US occupation from the BLS Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics survey (May 2025, national). Each figure links to its frozen BLS table. The savings column compares annual dedicated cost against the BLS median × 1.3 (a conservative employer-cost load; BLS ECEC data puts benefits near 30% of total compensation). Where no single honest comparator exists, the cell shows "—" rather than a stretched match.
Limitations: single-provider data (Zedtreeo), India-sourced dedicated full-time staffing — not marketplace freelance pricing, not a labor-market survey, and not salary data for workers. US medians are wages, not fully-loaded costs (hence the disclosed multiplier). Effective July 2026; see the change log below for revisions.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the Zedtreeo Rate Index?
- Zedtreeo’s actual published rate card — the starting bill rates a client pays for each of 72 dedicated remote roles staffed from India, set beside the US median wage for the nearest occupation. It is a primary pricing document, not a market survey: we are not estimating what the industry charges, we are disclosing what we charge. No form, no PDF gate, updated annually.
- What do the published rates include?
- The professional’s salary, statutory benefits and employer costs in India, recruitment and vetting, HR management, replacement cover, and infrastructure. There are no setup fees. Rates shown are the published starting rate per role; senior profiles within a role can price above it. Monthly figures assume 176 hours, which is full-time.
- What is the median rate across all roles?
- $7 per hour, all-inclusive, across 72 roles. The full range is $6 to $12 per hour with no hidden fees, and the median gross rate saving against the US-equivalent fully-loaded cost is 86 percent.
- Where does the US comparison come from?
- The median annual wage for the nearest US occupation in the BLS Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics survey, May 2025, national. Each figure links to its frozen BLS table so the match can be checked or disputed. Where no single honest comparator exists, the cell shows an em dash rather than a stretched match.
- How is the savings figure calculated?
- Annual dedicated cost against the BLS median multiplied by 1.3 — a conservative employer-cost load, since BLS Employer Costs for Employee Compensation data puts benefits near 30 percent of total compensation. It is a gross rate comparison.
- Why does other Zedtreeo copy quote 70–85% instead of 87%?
- Because the index figure is gross. It sets the published rate against the loaded cost of the nearest US occupation and does not net off onboarding, management time or tooling. Ordinary copy quotes the more conservative 70 to 85 percent for that reason.
- What are the limitations of this data?
- It is single-provider data covering India-sourced dedicated full-time staffing. It is not marketplace freelance pricing and it is not an industry-wide survey, so it should be cited as one provider’s published rates rather than as a market rate.
- Can I download or cite the data?
- Yes — the full table is downloadable as CSV with no gate, and the methodology section is published alongside it so the basis of every figure is visible before citing. Each US comparator links to its source table.
